Poland, Lacking External Enemies, Turns on Itself
As many of you may know, I am currently living in Queens, NY recently moved from Georgia after graduating from SCAD. It has been difficult, and still is, however currently I am working with the Society of Illustrators as well as 3×3 Magazine learning all I can about the industry and the field that is Illustration.
It is hard, I might add, balancing both the administrative world and the creative one. I spend my days working and my nights painting hoping that one day it will soon be my name and art people see in the magazines and publications I so loving work on, read and or sell. It has been my dream since I graduated to use my visual voice to express views on global issues and social politic, hence everyday I skim the NYTimes, Times Magazine, Huffington Post, Discovery News, and anything else that catches my eye.

finished
so i just finished this piece today…or more so i can’t think of anything else to do to it for the moment. I tend to look back on my previous pieces and think on how i would like to make them better…
here is also a makeshift cardboard easel for my computer desk for when i watch hulu, listen to pandora, or skype people.(i think i just wanted to make something 3D and take a quick break from the 2 dimensional panels that i devote my life to.)
plus im working on a project for THE PEACE PROJECT http://www.thewhole9.com/thepeaceproject-info.php which is gonna be painted on this peace of cardboard i’ve prepped…GO GREEN!
and lastly here is a landscape i am doing for a client from a photo of his trip to Ireland, still in progress of course. ( there is a picture sequence of my mom and i that some how got in there.)
